Locating a Leak

I've been trying to locate a mysterious leak for some time now in mt Allegro 2014 Open Road 36LA. Any suggestions appreciated. The leak appears to coming somewhere ABOVE the water pump. And travelling along the undercarriage to drip inside the forward storage compartments on the passenger side. Possible culprits back of residential fridge? toilet seal? I did notice a little weeping under one of floor tiles between the fridge and sink. Got to be the fridge? Anyone experience something similar? My gut says pull out the fridge, but that seems like a big chore if its something obvious I'm not aware of ?

Thanks

There is a recall on the Refrigerator in our coach. The concern is that the drip tray which collects condensation from the fridge can crack and allow moisture to attack wiring on the floor. Not suggesting you have that problem, but worth inspecting the drip tray and floor. We do not use the ice maker. The water line that feeds it is another potential source of leaks.

Paper towels can help find leaks if you lay them in suspect areas.

Good luck with your search.

Toilet seal would most likely leak on the floor and be obvious. If your fresh water pump doesn't cycle then it is not the supply line but could be the sink drain. Can you attach a paper towel to a stick and wipe it around under the fridge without pulling it out?

Thank you for the suggestions, I suspect the fridge is leaking somewhere, wondering where the drip tray is located, under the fridge? Im going to figure out how to check that first

If I recall, there was also a problem with the drain freezing up and causing water backup.
Toilet seal leak should not be a problem. On most Dometic toilets, the toilet has a flange that actually slides down and into the floor flange making it pretty hard to leak.

Commonly, the tray is near the compressor & cooling fan so the heat & air flow evaporates the water. That would be in the back under the refrig. I know I can see it from the outside panel, where the water line is also located, so you could check that as well while you are looking.

I'd Google the refrig for the manual, if you don't have it.

If the fridge is the Norcold, mine was leaking also. The cup can be located from the outside of the coach via the removable panel (on mine).

PKI, could you post or message me about the recall? We have the same MH and have not seen this. Thanks.

Check around the hot water tank. Our 2012 Open Road 30 GA had a small, slow leak that soaked the floor under the tile. We didn't know it until cleaning behind the toilet, I noticed the floor was spongy. Found the leak after removing the sink cabinet front. Never saw water on top of the tiles. Had to replace the floor along the wall in the bathroom and some of the hot water plumbing.
