Mobile Eye, cruise control question

Was in Red Bay the last couple of days having a few things done and today left after having our odometer and our fuel sending unit replaced. So, got on the main road and set the cruise control. All good until the cruise turns off. Weird I think but weird stuff happens with a coach. Does it again, then again and finally I realize the cruise is turning off when the Mobile Eye sees a car and the sensor (little picture of a car on the mobile eye) turns red. This has never happened before.

I have to think that somehow the odometer or full gauge must be tied into the mobile eye. Anyone have an explanation? Maybe the tech saw a wire loose while working on it and plugged it in to cause the change?

Sounds like your Mobileye and cruise control are working as designed. The Mobileye is alerting you to tell you the car is too close and disengages the cruise control so you don't run into that car. Think of it as an early form of adaptive cruise control.

Working correctly, but not for me

I have the same issue. I live in California (lots of 4 lane freeways) and every time a car pulls in front of me the cruise control would disengage... even if the car that passed me and is pulling away. VERY ANNOYING . I changed the distance/time for alerting so unless the car is really, really close it will not disengage. Maybe not as safe, but I'm the one driving. I'm watching the traffic and make better decisions than the Mobileye.

I didn't realize there was a setting that could be changed. Will have to look at the manual because I will change it also.
