Motorhome - large slides - slide sag

2008 Tiffin phaeton 40’ 4 slides 2 long & 2 short
While traveling, talking with owner of similar coach, he mentioned getting his slide sag fixed
I didn’t know I had the problem but the two long slides did have a sag in the middle caused by the weight of cabinets/contents along top of big slides.
The kitchen slide sag was significant while the dinette/office slide was minimal
While in red bay AL a shop Davidson RV corrects such sag
They built a wood rig with three spindles, then jacked up slide & install. Spindle rig sets on countertop & on bottom of cabinets
You could visually see the sag on the wood trim across the top, now level
We never ever had water come in on any slide but when the kitchen slide was extended we can hear people talking out side but now not
I’m sharing this as I’d never heard of slide sag before
Ignorance is bliss, only cost $200 for them to fix it
IMHO

So I've noticed that over the course of a few days my two hydraulic slides drop down about a 1/2" or so to a point the basement doors either hit the bottom of the slide or in some extreme cases won't fully open without forcing them under the slide. Which I want do. My two back electric slides I don't see that happening only on my two front Hydraulic slides up front. Is this what your talking about? and it so do you know why they do this and what the fix is?
I've read your post several times but I missing what they actually did to correct the sag?
TIA

I've herd of the Tiffin ceiling sag of the slides in years past, so it isn't a new thing. Basically, the interior edge of the slide ceiling isn't rigid enough to support its span length, especially after you start loading the ceiling cabinets and then go pounding down the road.

I think their fix is to put support poles from the floor to the ceiling or from the kitchen counter tops to the slide ceiling. This support may just be needed while traveling, then can be removed while at the camp site.

A picture would easily clear up all the questions.
