Move couch for tv cabinet

I've been looking at various Tiffin RV's that have opposing couches, like a '14 QBP. I'd like to know if any of you have relocated one of the couches and had a cabinet built (with a tv lift) between the couch and the wall... is this feasible? I know it would reduced the retracted space when traveling. I think the viewing angle better if the tv is at eye-level. Your thoughts?

I'm in total agreement about TV at eye level. That was one of the features that I am really happy about in our rig.

Lots of people have had these types modifications made. Just depends on your budget. There are lots of custom upfitters in Florida and Red Bay has 3-4 as well.

I am also thinking about putting the TV behind one of the couches. I just cannot find a lift that is thin enough to do that. Most that I found would need the couch to be more than 10" from the wall. And that is without any cabinet, just the lift and tv. With the slides in there isn't that much space to walk thru now, and after taking 10 more inches it would be a narrow walkway at best.

Todays TV's are incredibly light, i just bought for the BR, its only 14 lbs.
