Need advice on 2017 TIFFIN ALLEGRO 36 UA

Hello

Currently I own a 2006 winnebago C31 with 30k miles
I'm looking to upgrade to a newer class A
Found this
2017 TIFFIN ALLEGRO 36 UA
With 37k miles . Dealer asking 147k plus tax and fees
I love the unit very well maintained but seems a little high in price for 37k miles
What are your thoughts
Also. Would you buy an Rv that "high" in miles
Everything else I found(not tiffin) is under 20k
BTW I'm not looking for diesel
Thanks in advance

It’s not the mileage that’s high, but the asking price. Way more then it cost new.

Well, not really. My 34PA which I bought new in 2016 listed for quite a bit more than that, although I didn't pay that much for sure. But those were different times. That said, $147K. is a lot for a 2017, regardless of mileage. Check NADA and Kelly Blue Book data to see what they say. As much of a Seller's market as it seems to be these days, you may have to just pass, or if you really want it, just get the best deal you can and be happy. Good luck.

If your "trading", tell them you want 100K for yours.
It only has 30K on the clock. They should understand.

NOT!!!

Does it have to be a UA floor plan? There doesn’t seem to be nearly as many of them available. Perhaps that drives up the asking price. That said, here are a couple from RV Traderthat look to be much better values -

2020 w/9k miles, $160k. in Louisiana. https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/202...6UA-5018404240

2016 w/27k miles, $125k. In DFW, TX. https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/201...6UA-5018262293

If you could make a 34PA or 36LA floor plan work, there are many more to choose from.

@Shadow5501... I was looking for any other brand with everything is included on the UA
Once I saw the UA layout and the quality in Tiffin I stopped looking for anything else
Unfortunately I set my mind in this specific Rv model

I'm sending tomorrow my last offer to the dealer . Hopefully will get it approved.
Still paying more than I though but I understand the dealer need to make money and everything is expensive on these days
Will post how it worked out

The asking price is way too high. MSRP was probably around $180K. Most people got at least 20% off MSRP. That puts the original selling price at less than $144K. Plus almost 5 years depreciation.
We bought our 2017 36LA with all the options and far fewer miles a few months ago from a dealer for $119K. A 36UA with that mileage should be around the same. It took us about a year to find the right 36LA at the right price. If you're in a rush you may end up paying far too much.

Wow, the original owner of our 2003 Phaeton paid $156k. Now I know our is a diesel, but that doesn’t seem that high in terms of years and advances in quality. Maybe I don’t know enough about the “newer” motorhomes.

After days of research I couldn't find anything cheaper. Even private sellers price are way high
Seems the Rv market iprice are high now
Probably the demand due the offshore travel restrictions keep people traveling local

A new tiffin allegro 36UA is running over 200k
Even Nada shows avg retail for a 2017over 140k

Since I was just interested in this coach model In had limited choices, at the end
We get to agree on a price still high but fair enough for the current time we are living
Also got new tires .
Just hoping the market won't take a dip in the next 3-4 years so I can trade without being too outside down

BTW. The new units. 2021 are exactly the same . Just a bigger window and touch screen panels. With the new Ford engine which I rather to pass for now
These new units runs for 220k+
