Need Help installing a 2018red Accelerator Pedal

Hi,
I need to change a 2018 RED accelerator Pedal and cannot figure out how to get to the bolt nuts under the floor.
Has anyone changed it?
Stuck in South Carolina.
I can see the four nuts and bolts underneath but there is no room to get to them.
Is there an easy way to pull the floor out from the top?
On hold with Tiffin for over two hours today and disconnected at 5 PM. Freightliner doesn't have any idea.

Have new part ordered but need to get the old one out.

Thanks,
Jack

I had to remove & raise my throttle pedal while doing flooring change .

Any chance you could post a picture of what you're seeing ?

Need Help replacing Accelerator pedal

Hi Skip,
I will send more pictures tomorrow.
Attached is a picture of my Accelerator pedal I need to replace from an online picture. The mounting plate with four mounting holes are under the carpet. The real issue is that the nuts on the underside of the floor are in a extremely hard to access area in the generator area. I am hoping the floor comes out from the inside. Not sure how to get to the underside otherwise. Will add more pictures tomorrow.

Thanks for the reply
Jack

That is a good idea but I won't know until I get the replacement on Monday. I will also wait until I can get Tiffin on the phone. I am hoping they have an easy path to do this. I have had some issues like this before that they had a way of hiding access that wasn't obvious making a very difficult job into a "Oh, that was easy".

So, I will look it over today and get back to you.

Appreciate your thoughts.

I had one reply on the Tiffin web forum. That guy said drill out the bolts and use set tapping sheet metal screws.

That was hard for me to believe.

Will wait on that on that one

I'll keep an eye open for updates .

I had issues with the hinge pin rusting ( due to carpet shampooing ) and had to remove and polish it up , to get the exhaust brake working properly .
Rusted hinge was not allowing TPS to return to , zero , that the ECM needed to see to activate the exhaust brake.

I wish I could offer help, but instead I want to burden you with a question. Curious why you are having to replace it. It is a 2018 model coach. I have a 2019 model coach. Only wondering what the issue was that you experienced requiring it to be replaced. This is my first coach. Trying to store this knowledge in my head so if I experience it I will hopefully recall it. Thanks

Oh, and that wait on hold for lengthy periods only to get the dreaded message they are closed and goodbye really ticks me off. It has happened to me before as well. Sucks when it is on a Friday. They already tell you where you are in the queue. I was number 2 once and poof, gone. They should implement a cutoff at a certain point where you are guaranteed to speak to someone. If you call after that point they should state, "you have called after our predetermined cutoff point, however, if other callers issues are resolved within business hours, your call will be answered. Otherwise it won't." Doing this allows you to make a choice, stay on or not.
