New Allegro Bus

We just ordered a new 2016 Allegro Bus 40AP now we have to wait for it to be built. The dealer said 8 weeks I can't wait. We traded in a Thor Tuscany 40KQ. I want to flat tow my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Any suggestions about what tow rig is the best?

First check which version of Grand Cherokee. Some cannot be flat towed, depends on transmission type.
Blue Ox baseplate and tow bar is good. The newest version tow bar has easy release mechanism.
Supplementary brake is more difficult decision. Blue Ox Patriot does not require any modifications for installation but requires more setup each time than some others.

Any of the popular base plates (BlueOx, Demco, or RoadMaster) will work fine. Check their websites for compatibility.

Tow bars, same story. After having used BlueOx for a few years, I switched to Demco. Much easier to use and setup.

Braking systems - Since you have air brakes, built ins like the SMI Airforce One or the M&G Brake are an excellent choice. If you want a portable brake, the best and easiest to use is the RVi Brake.

Look for plug and play light connection kits and systems to provide a charge line to the Jeep (RVi and others) and you will be all set.

Just make sure your toad is towable. Some grand cherokees are not towable 4-down. DO NOT take a salesman's word for it either. The owners manual that came with the car should say that it is or is not towable 4-down. Look it up.
