New Build date just received, 1mo to build???
We purchased an Allegro 36LA at the Hershey Show Sept 2014. We asked for delivery March 2015 at that time. In the fall, we notified Colton RV that we would like to arrive around March 10 to pick up or rig. They advised us they would contact Tiffin in advance so that they could schedule production and would have all the materials ordered ahead of time. We just received notice from Colton RV that our unit will be started Jan 30 and "It is still looking good to have it for the beginning of March" Is 4-5 weeks long enough for a build on a 36LA. I thought the production time was normally 8-10 weeks? Does this sound like a reasonable build time. Thanks in advance for your input.

Call Colton and get a production number. Also have them give you a number that you can contact Tiffin at and they'll send you a detailed production schedule on your rig. It won't be cast in stone, but it should be pretty close and as your time gets closer, you can keep checking with them for last minute changes and their shipping schedule. Colton tends to be out of the loop and not too interested in getting up to the minute info for you unless you're actually sitting in the sales manager's office and listening to his end of the phone call. Make sure you push on Colton as far as their clean up, and your walk through inspection and training on the new rig.
Ours was due to be delivered to Colton in early January and we didn't pick it up until Jan 15th. I was in Colton's yard when it showed up, we transferred stuff when they were still wiping it down and we were out of there in a hurry. 4 days later we were in Quartzsite, AZ., but ya gotta push hard and stay on top of it.

The actual build time is about three days. The time from when the frame rolls into the main plant until it is ready to deliver is usually two weeks. The remainder of that time is paint and final finish and cleaning. The 8-10 weeks is the time from when the order is placed until it's finished. Production usually is about six weeks behind the orders.

We just received the build schedule for our 31SA. Starts in the chassis shop on 2/2, and gets to the paint shop on 2/12. But then there is a gap to final finish on 3/2 and a 3/9 ship date.
We plan to be in White Bay the week of 2/2, and may go back to see the start of final finish for a couple days if we can fit that in.
It is starting to feel "real" now!

Ours began build on July 9th and we got to see two days of the build. We picked it up and took delivery on August 7th. Our dealer had it ordered for "stock" and we made minor changes 6 days before build start.

You can also call Danny Inman or Stephanie at TMH and give them your name and they can provide the information. I ordered my coach from Lazydays and got the build schedule directly from the main office at Tiffin.

We to have a 36LA ordered from Colton RV with a build date start of 1/29. It is scheduled for shipping on 2/26 as we to asked for a March delivery. That would make your dates seem correct. They may be following each other down the line.

oops I see you are from Buffalo so guess you didn't buy at the Hershey Show. We have to drive from North Carolina to pick our Tiffin up. We are keeping our fingers crossed we don't run into snow in March!!
