New to Us 2012 Allegro Open Road 34 TGA

Wow what a day. We went to Tucson, Arizona and stoped at several Dealers and we found our Dream Motorhome. We have been looking since June while on the Road and kept going back to the Tiffin. We checked again this Morning on Dealers websites and a 2012 with no pictures was just listed so on our visit we went to 2 dealers and they did not have what we were looking for. The 3rd Dealer just got this coach in last night and it was everything we were looking for. We pick it up next Friday and they have a campground and we will stay there and try every thing out for 2 night before we take her Home.

Congratulations! As far as my DH and I are concerned there is no better choice, no matter the age or model. Enjoy it for many years to come.

I am glad you love yours. I knew if we left and went home to think about it someone else would have got it.

Thanks Debbie, We just couldn't pass it up. We will take it out next month with our Good Sam's Group for a few days and then to San Diego for Christmas at Mission Bay to spend with Our Daughter & Son in-law & Grandson.

Congratulations on the 34TGA and we wish you many safe and enjoyable miles with it. We purchased our TGA in March..it's our 3rd Tiffin product and are very pleased with it. In fact, after spending about 3 months worth of nights in the coach, I must say that it is a very livable and comfortable motor home.

My one and only suggestion regarding the coach is to make certain that your check list for getting on the road includes to make certain that the two mid ship cabinets under and over the TV are securely closed. After an extremely bumpy trip, I set up the coach, set the brakes, extended the jacks and when I was extending the big drivers side slide, one of the cabinet doors was open just enough for the slide to destroy the door. It must have opened just enough to get caught by the slide. Scared the daylight out of me!

Anyway, enjoy your new coach.

Bob

Thanks for the Info about the Cabinet Doors will put that on our list. We spent almost 4 months on the Road to New York and back and we had some Bad Roads 80 to 76 to Denver and 40 from New Mexico to Texas and last but not least Pa Turnpike...

We did the same thing with the cabinet door under the tv. We ordered another door for $47.00.. Live and learn. We have owned our allegro 34 qfa for 1 month, we are in Bryson city n.c. As we speak.. The only thing we have done to ours is put a surge protector, extended values to check air pressure and we had a blue ox true center installed to keep the MH from being blown off the road when 18 wheelers went by..they also realigned the front end.. Tiffen paid for both..we are brand new Rv people but we love the MH.. Have fun, see you down the road..

To keep the cabinet doors securely closed I use those pony tail bands women use for their hair. Cheap insurance and works really well.

Hi Tractor16,
Good buy, you will love it for sure. Well built and lot of space. On mine, I installed a Supersteer and a henderson' rear track bar, now it rides like a charm,we are new to class A, I was travelling with a toyhauler. But now we are happy to leave the cold weather of Quebec to travel down south and enjoy it as much as we can.
Ride safe and have fun

I bought the 2012 Allegro 35qba. Very nice coach but the 2012 Allegro Open Road vehicles all have many of the same problems. Mine and my neighbor's coach have both suffered from the following problems.

1. Valve extenders on the inner rear wheels are
To long and eventually damage destroy the
rubber valve supports. (acknowledged by
Tiffin)

2. The coach battery securing straps break

3. The plastic vents on the dash are usually
broken

4. The bathroom doors are generally not lined
up properly which will not allow the door to
latch consistently.

There are a few other things that are of concern but more model specific.
If anyone wants more details you can reach me at

Checked my valve stem extenders and yes the rubber support is all ripped. I have a Allegro 2012 34TGA. Going to check battery strap now.
Thanks for the heads up. Is Tiffin doing anything about this ? Replacement
parts something.
Thanks Again
