Angry Newbie questions.cold beer..

2004 Allegro Bus 40' TGP 400 cummings Well after 13 yrs on a 53' sailboat now in a 40'5"x 8'6" box...same but different. 3 weeks into the adventure...in TN..hot both AC on high..Fridge on AC...beer cold..cooking with microwave....so yes to many amps for the bus....microwave goes out...no ac at the plug...cannot find a breaker or fuse..frustration...got back from shopping beer..etc....fridge temp 49 deg...beer not cold....double damn...get out manuals...well the fridge is on gas...of course site not level and have a leaking jack which prevents a level bus...so fridge not keeping beer cols....try to turn it on AC...not happening...so then my old fart brain says...hmmmm...question...is there a magic breaker of something that using too many amps will shut down the fridge and MW...and leave my beer warm...never had this problem on the boat...everything DC;. Help need cold beer Capt Paul

Inverter. Same as boat. In basement. Also make sure 12 v is on. It controls ac stats.

Check out all breakers in back closet. They may look okay but reset them. Make sure everything is turned off. Check the 12v switch beside the door. Check the breakers on the inverter, press reset. The inverter is probably upside down on the ceiling of a bay on the DS which makes it a little harder to find the breaker and reset button. Have you tried running off the generator to see if things work? Unplug from shore and try it. If it does work then you have narrowed down the area to search. Can be bad shore power plug, bad transfer switch or bad 300 amp fuse. That fuse doesn't look like a normal fuse. It looks more like a solenoid, round tube thing. Mine is in the first bay on DS with other electronics. Let us know if you find the problem.

The same: both require lots of cold beer! Difference: in a motorhome at low elevation one requires more beer! In a boat you are always at low elevation.
