The location of the wire from Stacy @ tiffin motor homes

Stacy sent an image indicating the location of the wire. I looked at the 5 amp fuse but did not check it with an ohm meter. Will check it out when I get back to Craig, CO.

Coach battery not charging

2007 Holiday Rambler Neptune. I was having problems with the coach batteries not charging and following this thread checked many items. Finally found that one of the battery cables had broken and separated from the post. At the back of the battery box it was not easy to see but once I installed a new cable my problem was solved. Something you might check. I had cleaned all of the cables about a month before this happened and they all looked good, you just never know.

Notice that the wire in question is connected to the "Positive" terminal? Well on my coach it was connected to ground. The chassis battery on the left was positive terminal to the inside of the compartment instead of the outside as shown. Who ever did this connected the wire as shown but now it was at ground instead. Connecting it the the positive side solved the voltage problem to the PMM ... but still not charging at idle. My guy at tiffinmotorhomes.com said that the house needs to be below 12.3 for the charge to kick in. Haven't gotten there to test this out yet but I'm hoping for the best.
