Any older Tiffin rigs represented here? Mine is a 1990 front engine diesel(Cummins) I see older ones on the road but haven't seen too many here.
Thanks any response.

Great topic!

Tiffin has had the reputation for many years in putting out a quality long lasting rig. Let's see what all is out there.

How well does your Toad brake work on the Malibu? I tow an 04 Malibu and have been shopping. Thanks

ontos,

I'm sorry I missed your question about the Malibu earlier

We towed our Malibu for 3 years exclusivly until we started towing our CRV. The only reason to switch is the CRV is roomier in back for my teenage kids.

I use the Unified Toad Brake in both of my vehicles and didn't find it too difficult to install. It is true that it takes a bit more wiring and splicing into the vacuum system so that the vacuum pump can allow the car's power brake booster to work, but that's the benefit of the system.

In the Malibu, it's pretty easy to mount the braking system solenoid under the front seat as the cable is the perfect length to pull on the brake pedal. So far, I've moved the Toad Brake from a Saturn, to a Jeep Wrangler, to the Malibu. Once you read over the instructions, it's a pretty easy install.

We ordered the new coach through Clem's Trailer Sales and received a great deal from them. I sold the our Journey outright to a buyer in Oregon.

I'm in the hills Southwest of Albany. Lived in New Paltz and Ellenville for a while many moons ago.

Ontos, I claim the title! Mine is an '89 with a 454, presently in the shop for a remanufactured engine.
