One Remote Turns On More Then One TV

There are two tv's in the front and one in the bedroom on my new to me 2014 Phaeton 40 QBH that will come on when I push the on button on the remote. I need to be standing up close to the a TV to only turn that one on. How can I get a remote to only turn on a certain tv and not the others? There are four remotes for all the tv's in this motor home, three inside and one outside.

Its a common problem. We just move a little closer to the one we want to change.

The only way to positively fix it so a remote works just one TV is to change one of them out for a different brand. Two TVs of the same brand in the same area are going to react like that. Some have modified the TV's IR receiver by blocking part of it with black tape so the aim has to be more precise.

I too had this problem with my Dish remotes. Called Dish tech support and they walked me through reprograming the bedroom remote so it was not using the same frequency as the front TV remote. Both remotes are identical but only operate specific TV's now.
I would suggest calling Dish during the day rather than evenings when you are connected to the Philippines

Frustrating but can be fixed, good luck..

My rig has infrared repeaters so the TV's would work that way. Now I've replaced the TV's and didn't reconnect the repeaters but they still do it. I just move closer and turn one on.
