Open Road Elongated Toilet Upgrade

The cheap original round bowl toilet used in the Open Roads is pushed/mounted way back against the back wall (approximately 8.5 inches off wall) and the 300 series Dometic with elongated bowl requires upwards of 11 inches distance from the wall…
This pushed back mounting used by Tiffin causes the much protruding platform that is one of the complaints in this thread, However it does make it easier to transition to the elongated bowl toilet.
The main problem is the factory location of the flange. It must move another 2.5 inches toward the front edge of the raised platform…
Has anyone successfully made this modification, and if so, whose offset flange did you use ?
Also, were there any other gotcha’s that was encountered moving the flange that you could share before I rip out the current flange ???

I have a 2017 32SA

Thanks in advance.

I really want the full elongated bowl. The Thetford is 19 3/4” long, the Dometic 321 is 22”…. And I already have it sitting in the garage.
I would still have space problem (wall distance) with the Thetford, since my current center of flange is 8 1/2-8 3/4” from wall.
Thanks O’Biscuit of Wisdom
