Outside Light, Driver Side

We have a 2010 Phaeton we bought new. Do not know how to turn on the light between the slides on the driver side of bus. It is yellow and looks identical to the door light near front door. Have asked several people with identical buses but they could not turn it on either. Can someone tell me where the switch is and whether the ignition has to be on? Thanks

Not sure about your Bus, but the switch for the "Road Light" on my Phaeton is by the front door, along with the "door light" and "porch light".

On mine the "road light" switch turns it on. Not sure why it is called a road light.

Bulb was burned out. There was a gob of silicon (used to seal the fixture when bus was built) on the bulb that must have caused it to burn out the first time it was turned on.
