Outside Refrigerator Panel

Have own a 2015, Tiffin Allegro Red, 33AA for a about 3 years. Upon retuning from our last outing, I noticed the outside refrigerator door vent was missing. It has 4 metal tabs that go into the frame with 2 screws that hold the panel in place. I have ordered and received the replacement, of course this new panel is not painted as the original one was painted when the RV was painted.

Believe, I am not the first one who has lost a panel but am looking at possible ways to secure the panel, either by a piano hinge on the lower part of the panel or by riveting 2 wire straps to the panel and the RV. The panel was $ 28.00 but the painting of the panel will be much more.

Trying to prevent this from happening again. Any thoughts?
