Outside TV critical for resale price??

We are in the final process of ordering a new Tiffin Phaeton 40 QBH.

Some of the sales people are telling us that the addition of the outside TV is critical for the resale price...that people don't want the RVs without that TV included in the unit.

Is that what you all have been told or found to be true yourself?

Been waiting a long time to go camping with this unit and it is hard for me to imagine sitting outside looking at the side of my RV.

What say you all?

Nope - we have an outside TV, never used it except to see if it worked. Wouldn't matter to us if we were in the market for a resale rig.

Outside TV

Don't want or need the outdoor tv on my coach. Was not offered in 2013 and never missed it yet. If I wanted one I would rather store it in outside compartment so I hardly see it as a deal breaker.

I'd think if the outside bay is wired for power and antenna, not having a TV in place isn't a deal breaker. Like you, I don't sit outside, or even inside, watching TV except on rainy days or evenings. A flat screen isn't that expensive, if you were selling and it was an issue, reduce the price by $500 and sell the RV.

I wouldn' be interested in an outdoor entertainment center w/TV--waste of storage space..

I wouldn't want or use one, but I have to admit I don't have an inside TV either...

Some like chocolate and some like vanilla. I enjoyed mine , however I wouldn't order it if I didn't. Order your RV for you.

I do see lots of folks using their outdoor TV, primarily for football, baseball, golf or news. We've had our rig for a little over a year and really haven't used it at all.
