Phaeton Dishwasher

My new 2014 Phaeton has a dishwasher. The controls are on the inside, so when running you cannot see what stage the unit is in. The manual discusses a remote. Do other owners have a remote for their dishwasher?

Yes there is a small remote but only to start or stop the cycle. There is no display to tell status or even if it is running. The run time is very long but does a decent job and doesn't use that much water. If still running, the drawer is locked. DW found out hard way. Pulled fairly hard and stripped out screws on decorative panel on one side. Listen for noise but fairly quiet. Sometimes silent when soaking.

Ours has a remote too. Love the dishwasher....quiet and efficient. We
run it about every third day since we only have 6 coffee cups!
I put my hand on the front of the machine to tell if it is running. I do wish it had a light display outside though.
