Phaeton Leveling
I am getting ready to pick up my new phaeton from the dealer and want to understand the leveling process. On my gas coach, once parked, I just hit the auto leveling and presto.
On the Phaeton with air bags, am I supposed to shut it down and let the air bags bleed off before leveling?
Do I shut down, bleed off the bags, level, and then bump slides?
Appreciate the help.

Just shut down and push the same button as your old rig. It will automatically dump the air and level the coach. The key must be in the accessory position. Good luck with your new coach.

Just but it in neutral, put on air brake park, and press the auto level button. It does it all. After level, put out slides then shut down engine.

Yup. Auto level will first dump air, then level.

We pull in to campsite, I get out wife leaves engine running and dumps air. (She could hit auto level, but I prefer to put a wood block under each jack). I put a block under, and give her the thumbs up so she hits the auto level button. When leveled, she puts the slides out, then turns off the engine.
While she's leveling and putting slides out, I'm connecting the shorepower and water/sewer if available. I'm also getting out the camp chairs and picnic table cover.
We both finish about the same time.
'
Notes:
- The manual dump button dumps the air from the air bags, and the coach lowers a couple inches.
- the auto level button first dumps the air, then turns on the hydraulic pump and starts lowering the jacks and levels it.

We kinda follow the same procedure. Maybe just me, but it seems the auto-dump doesn’t fully dump the air bags before the leveling starts. We manually air-dump before leveling so it sits lower and the jacks don’t have to extend as far. I dunno, maybe the manual-dump lowers 1/4”-1/2” lower than the auto. Probably splitting hairs, but that’s our process.

I have found that manually dumping and manually leveling works best for me. If I auto-level, it will be level, but it sets the coach much higher than necessary. I use a good 4-point level on the floor and do it myself.

Can you expand a bit? Which buttons/set do you start with and such.
