Phaeton shocks

I have a 2010 phaeton and would like to know if anyone with the same coach has upgraded their shocks. If so what did you go with.
When I have searched for Koni shocks for my coach none are listed. Can you not put Koni or Bilstien shocks on a phaeton.

I was just looking at shocks yesterday for a 2010 Phaeton. Pretty sure I'm going with Bilstein. According to this review the Koni's are somewhat stiff. http:////www.motorhome.com/tech/diy/...absorber-test/ That review is pretty old, but it compares the Bilstein's to the Koni's. The Koni's are really expensive.

Best price I found was at Shockwarehouse.com. I didn't search a lot because it will be a few months before I buy. I've posted the prices and part numbers for both.

Edit: I just noticed you have a Freightliner chassis. The shocks I posted are for the Powerglide chassis. Sorry.

Not sure the Bilstein Comfitrac is made anymore. Best check as the HD’s may be a different shock.

I would guess you're correct. That review is pretty old.

You would think the newer shocks would be an improvement over the older shocks, but we know that's not always true.

I believe the original Sachs provide little to no resistance in one direction so any new shocks like the Bilstein will definitely provide a different ride. I would love to hear any feedback if you install the Bilsteins as new shocks are on my list but have several other dragons to slay before shocks.

Sure. I'll update you when I change them.

I'm pretty sure Bilstein's came on the 2010 Powerglide chassis as stock, so it will be interesting to see the difference between the 2010 and 2021 shocks.
