Phaeton - Tank Gauges

2016 Phaeton - My grey, black, fresh water digital gauges seem only to register 0, 33, 66, 100%. Is this normal, or should they be report linear info: 3%, 10%, 27%, 29% etc? My LP gauge DOES give linear data - 54%, 59%, 72 %, etc. Thx!

yes it is normal only 0% 33% 66% and 100%.. wish they would change it like on the Allegro Bus.. no real warning when you are at 66% grey or black until it FULL would be better to be in 10 % increments or less..

wish they had an option on the Phaetons..

My 2017 Phaeton only reads 33%,66%,100% for the Black, Grey, Fresh. That is the way they are designed.

JT - if you want linear reading tank gauges, it's time for an upgrade. Garnet Industries (RV Holding Tank Monitors | The Monitor That Works) SeeLevel gauges are the only solution I can think of that will read in 5% increments, mount externally to the tank to avoid fouling and false reading, and use the wiring from the existing guages for installation.

We had our gauges installed prior to picking up our coach because we knew what would happen with the factory system.
