Pink Fluid Leak

I have been at a campground in Florida since October 2017. I have a 2014 Phaeton 40 QBH. The last couple months, I noticed pink fluid on the ground in the rear. Looking under the chassis in the rear, I noticed fluid on the lower radiator hose clamp. Further looking, I notice the fluid is coming from the fan shroud. I am hoping it is the upper hose area. Any thoughts on where to look to see where it is leaking? I haven't removed the floor panel in the rear bedroom yet to see if I can find the leak.

The antifreeze in our 2017 bus has a red tint to it. Perhaps a loose hose clamp .

I'm hoping it isn't a water pump.

I had the same thing. It was a loose hose clamp on the power steering hose that went from the tank to the right side frame rail. Tightened the clamp near the frame rail and problem solved. Tightened all other clamps I could see. So far no more leaks. [emoji53]

I would think it’s more likely a lose hose clamp. Same thing happened to me. Found several lose clamps. Guess the freightliner factory doesn’t tighten everything up. Mine was only 1 year old at the time.

Can you get to the power steering clamps from underneath? I will check this out today. Thanks.

I got under the motor home and saw power steering fluid on the bottom of the fan shroud. I did not see clamps at the frame rail. I could not see the power steering pup from underneath.

Leak

Our 2014 QBH had a similar leak. Turned out that the plastic expansion tank was cracked where the low coolant sensor threads in. Apparently this is a common problem. FL replaced the expansion tank under warranty. I had to open the engine hatch in the rear bath to get a good look and confirm that was the issue. If you trace the leak I suspect that will be your issue.
