Polish Countertops

Our countertops have several scratches in them. Anyone suggest how to polish them up a bit and make the look better?

The Dupont site mentioned previously works well for small areas. If you are a do it yourselfer Rockler and other craft sites offer abrasive pads for your circular sander in the 8000 and 12000 range. Used with a high grade auto polish it brings up a great shine while removing scratches. Just remember, less is better, the idea is to level the surface to make it shine and reflect, the scratches are noticed because they cast micro-shadows and reflect light making them noticeable.
Locally, we have a countertop installer (Valley Counter Fitters) and they will send out a worker/craftsman to polish out the countertop (for a fee). If your not into do it yourself a local counter top guy will make Corian look like new.
