Power glide chassis?

I’m considering a 2020 Tiffin Allegro RED340. It has a power glide chassis built by Tiffin. Who/where would service this chassis since it’s not a commercial chassis like a Freightliner? Any issues I need to be aware of?

Thanks!

Our 2013 Bus has a Powerglide chassis and we've been running it for over 110,000 miles. Nothing to be concerned about. All Tiffin did is use all sorts of commercial, commonly available parts and bolt them to their frame design/assembly. Bendex brakes? Cummins engine? Allison trans? xxx front end? and so forth. Any shop that deals with heavy trucks, RV's or general repairs should be able to work on your rig. Yes, the number and location of the grease zirks will be different from what they're used to, but a good shop will cope easily. We've been extremely happy with the Powerglide, and as you can see we don't let too much grass grow under it. I do all my own maintenance with locally available parts.

I'll echo Pigman's comments. We also have a Power Glide chassis now with 28,000 miles. Service has not been a problem and if you check the Tiffin web site there is a list of authorized service centers all over the country.

Thanks for the information! That Rush truck would be a good deal, we have one here in Oklahoma City.

Any Cummins Coach Care facility can handle it.

Verify first. While the location nearest us is designated as a Coach Care Facility, they don't do chassis service. I know, I asked. I was told they don't have the techs. Luckily, there's an authorized PG chassis center across the freeway & if the deal is completed with Rush, that'll give us another nearby location.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
