Power problem

My generator just came on but I'm showing good power at the pedestal. Any ideas?

By "showing good power", do you mean actual voltage at the receptacle? Did you check the breaker on the pedestal? Do you have a breaker tripped on the rv side? That is where I would start.

Do you have the AGS set to start at a certain voltage or temperature? There have been instances where the control cable connectors corroded a little causing "ghost" starts.

Ghosts are what I have since it was new. Red Bay has not been able to replicate. All AGS parameters are right. Not losing AC power, batteries are good, inside temp good. Control cable to genny looks good. With AGS on, the generator will start when it wants to. Could be during the day or at 2:00 am. Neighbors love that. Red Bay, Spyder, Magnum all do not know what to suggest.
Anyone have any ideas???

Suggest you strip off the tape at the generator connection, clean the connections and reseal. Lots of folks said the connection looked good but it wasn’t.

Appreciate reply. Tried that too…twice. Cleaned thoroughly both times. Has to be a trouble spot with the amount of tape they use. Since Spyder starts the generator, I may try to find out the best way to see what signal is telling it to start. Hmm…..

Power Problem

2021 Allegro Bus 40IP here, I have the same generator "ghost start" when setting AGS. I've checked all parameters and nothing has ever been close to start the generator. My assumption is a software glitch. Will address at red bay in September.
