Re: Residential fridge

In the 2018 37PA, where is the electrical plug for the fridge located and is it easily plugged and unplugged in that location? Also, where is the water valve for the icemaker located.

Likely there is a removable panel on the outside if the coach. Water line shut off and power plugs accessible there.

If you are looking to kill power for storage or similar, our RR is on a dedicated circuit breaker. I just drop that breaker.

Actually, that is the reason for looking for that plug. I did use the breaker for the first trip or two, but here is the problem with that. I turn the fridge off every time we get back from a trip and turn it back on just before we go off on the next trip. At those times the slides are in the in position which creates a virtual battle of climbing across the bed, opening the rear closet door(which is just about impossible) and then reaching the breaker located in a very unreachable spot while stretching across the bed. Though, I think having to remove and replace the outside panel each time is not such a great alternative either.

All I do is turn off the inverter and turn off the 12vdc switch in the stairwell and the fridge has no power since it is on a dedicated inverter outlet. For long term storage I also set the fridge temp controls to off before shutting down the inverter. Not necessary but I did it anyway last winter. No need to flip breakers or remove outside panels, etc.

right, turning off the inverter effectively kills all your breakers anyway....easy.

Most refrigerators can be turned off on the control panel. Check your refrigerator manual. The lights will stay on, but the compressor is turned off.

Generally the plug is in the outside "Fridge compartment behind the outside access panel
The water valve can be anywhere, mine is in that same compartment opposite the plug.
Yes it is easily accessed, just turn (on mine) two quarter turn latches and PULL the panel out. (Do not know how Norcold latches theirs)

You may or may not wish to seal the panel when you swap for a residential. but all the connections you need are there Do replace the panel (just seal the openings if you choose) I'd do that by a different means myself. but that's me.
