They do pretty much everything in Red Bay.

The ten-year rule is true though. They won't work on your coach if it's more than ten years old. But, there are several local repair shops, operated by former Tiffin employees, and recommended by Tiffin, who will. A list is available on Tiffin's web-site.

Tiffin doesn't make appointments. You show up and wait your turn. The process is well documented in the "Owners" section of the Tiffin web-site. The other businesses do generally take appointments.

We just got back from Red Bay having a slide issue and a couple of nits fixed while we were there. We waited 6 days to get into an "Express Bay". Express service gets you two techs for 3 hours. (Our repairs actually took 3.5 hours)

Coach problems needing more time go into a different queue which had a 2 to 3 week wait when we were there. There are also queues for Paint&Body and Chassis work, but I didn't ask what the wait was for those.

Regards,

Randy

They do fix some stuff and provide services that are not warranty related (service AquaHot, generator, etc.) and other things that need fixed but you will pay if you are out of warranty. The best thing about Red Bay is the "after hours" vendors who provide services on nearly all aspects of RV's and not just Tiffins. I am here now and made appointments for various things, so had one yesterday, two today, and one more tomorrow, then we will be on our way and accomplished a lot in 3 business days. In the park I am in now (Red Bay Acres) there are two Newmars. Many of the vendors will come to your site, but some require you to visit their shop.

Sort of related to the OPs question on 10 yr old or newer coaches will Tiffin Deal with Extended Warranty Company on repairs that fall out of the Tiffin Warranty window? If not does any of the non-Tiffin repair Companies in Red Bay that you are aware of ? Been curious about this for some time. Thxs

No, Tiffin service does not accept extended insurance (they are not really warranties). If you use their service, you get authorization from your insurance company, pay the full bill then get reimbursed. Some of the others in town may accept the insurance but you would have to find out from them individually.

True, I know better, they are extended Service plans basically, not warranties though they do try to sell them as such. I know several friends and I were discussing this and none of us knew they answer. Thxs
