Has anyone seen the post here about reflectix and applying it in the cabinets and closets? If so please either put a message here or PM me I’d like to know how much you have to buy and what sizes

You can buy really big rolls of it and cut to size. I’ve done one or two cabinets but on my list to do others. Hard to answer how much as it depends on how many cabinets have an outside wall. An example being I have two shirt closets one with two exterior walls, the other just one. These are in a slide with a slide topper so would it do any good to insulate it? (not looking for an answer)

I cut and put it on my window's last winter down south, as the edge's are not sealed, the window's all sweated behind it........took it down. Also when it got cold, I cracked all the storage door's to allow air movement......dead air space will collect moisture when it is cold out. So in ending, I can see it working in the hot month's to keep heat out but did not work for me trying to keep cold out. Hope this helps ya out......

We just installed Refectix in our new Phaeton 40IH. Bought 1 roll of 16"x25' at Lowes for ~$16. We did all of the front upper cabinets plus 1 small overhead cabinet in rear bath. Mostly cutting the material about 1/2" oversize and pressing it into cabinet will hold it in place. In a couple of spots, I miss measured and used some artists putty to hold material in place. Hard to tell how much it helps keep coach cooler, but my IR thermometer shows 10-15 deg cooler temp in cabinets with the Reflectix than without.

I bought a roll of double back tape...would cut into 1" pieces and apply 6-8 pieces as needed. Easy to remove if need be.
