Repairing Roof Dimple

We have a 2014 Allegro RED and recently found a small dimple or chip in the roof, perhaps where a stone or branch took out a tiny chip. There's no leak or immediate problem. Just wondering what the proper sealant is to fill that. Does Tiffin have a recommended material?

Are you talking about the fiberglass front or rear cap? If the chip is in the fiberglass, you could fix it like any chip in a fiberglass surface. If it's in the other part of the roof, it depends on what it's made of.

Your whole roof is fiberglass so some type of fiberglass repair material would seem appropriate. I've used boat repair materials on fifth wheels and was satisfied with the results.

The chip is on the roof top, not on the front, rear or side areas. It is fiberglass. I was told that Tiffin recommends a product called CDL. However, I can't find out much about it.

Go to any auto parts store and get a fiberglass repair kit. You won't need any of the cloth material, just the resin and hardener. Mic up a little bit and will the dimple. It's on the rood so color matching is not critical.

MarineTex is good for small nicks etc in white fiberglass, used to use it on my boat.

You might contact Tiffin for more information on the recommended 'CDL'. When you do a search for CDL I only found information about Commercial Driver's License, no miracle fiberglass repair substance.

Dicor self-leveling, just enough to cover with a 1" margin. Everything else on your roof is sealed with Dicor(or similar).
