Replacement wiper blades

I am looking to buy replacement wiper blades for my 2022 Tiffin Allegro Bus. Can’t seem to find a site that points me in the right direction. Anyone know of a source to find the right blades for my rig?

Go to the Trico wiper website.

It has a RV lookup section.

Frank-

Global Products bought Wiper Technologies. WT supplies many RV wiper blades. The link to the Global Products Web site is here. They have an application guide, but it only lists the Allegro Bus up to the 2020 model year.

I've bought my coach's WT wipers from the RV Upgrade Store (online). There are probably several online suppliers besides them.

I just went to a local O’Reillys to replace mine. They work.

Why spend the $$$ for long blades when a blade a bit shorter is cheaper and clears enough of the windshield to see more than adequately to drive if raining. If it's raining harder than that I get off the highway until the rain slows down.

Finding wiper blades for RV's can be an issue. Simple fix we did 4 years ago and have absolutely no issues at all.

Ninty percent of wiper blades use a 9-MM wide "J" hook. Most RV's require a 12-MM "J" hook. Simple!!! Using a flapper disc grind the 12-MM end of your RV wiper arm to 9-MM and you can buy blades any place that handles standard car, truck replacement blades. They are easily 50% cheaper and readily available in just about any place when compared to finding blades just for an RV!!!

Years ago 4 of us while camping drove all over the Little Rock area trying to find some replacement wiper blades for an RV. When we finally did they cost an arm and a leg. That's when I looked into to what I described above.

My experience after 3 RV's is they are marginal as best. One class C and the other 2 Class A's. Both systems one by Newmar and the other 2 by Ford were very marginal. After 6 months under warranty nothing Newmar provided or suggested worked at all. I ended up making an adjustable center arm so the blades would stop wiping off the windshield at both the top and the bottom.

Using a shorter blade than normal reduces the amount of weight swinging back and forth. That should extend the life of the system.

There appears to be a trend in the wiper blade market. The companies have stopped making just replacements blades. Now you have to purchase a wiper blade with the blade holder. Not only have I seen it in stores some managers have told me they are seeing the shift from just blade replacements to an entire blade holder as well.

When one considers the actual amount of time your wipers are working for the most part it's fairly minimal. Yes that depends on where you live and how often you drive when it's raining. Sometimes you don't have a choice.

One more point. If you think narrowing your wiper blade end from 12-MM to 9-MM will not handle the blades you want. I've seen some vans and larger trucks that use blades as long as 35" to 38" with the 9-MM blade end with no issues.

We have found 28” wipers to work fine for us. ~$10 each at Costco.

Costco blades by Michelin didn't last a season on the Pacific coast.

We now use Trico - not thrilled with the plastic 'universal' adapter - but they wipe better than many others we've tried.
