Safe T Plus and CHF

Although our coach handles pretty well, we are new to motorhome living, and I always look for better and safer ideas.
We have a 2014 Tiffin 36LA that is 37' long.

I am considering doing the CHF on the front and rear anti-sway bars, and adding the SAFE T PLUS steering support. However, when I go to their website, they don't show which unit I need, and say they don't see our coach in their system.

Have anyone out there installed this product, and if so, which one did you use?

I had planned to purchase from Amazon.

Thanks,

The coach is on a F-53 ford chassis and there should be a unit for it. Give the factory a call (800) 872-7233.
If you’re going to do the CHF, check out Hellwig for the links so your sway bar stays horizontal.

Skip, using the Safe T plus website, select Ford; F53; 2005-2019, 35 feet and up, and it will give you what you need.

I really feel that the Safe T Plus steering stabilizer is a must have. It helps in the steering and helps keep it from wandering, and is a big safety factor if you have a tire blowout (at least it is supposed to help - thankfully I haven't had a blowout yet).
Thanks,

You may have already called them, but I've read many posts where people had the same experience with the site. Definitely best to call them. They are very helpful and friendly.

I love the Safe T Plus on my rig. Makes it much easier to handle. I noticed a difference immediately on the test drive in Tallapoosa. Hope to never have to test it on a blowout, but I have it and hopefully it will help me keep control. I never go over 63 mph (my personal limit), so this may help some too.

I recently (Oct. 21) purchased a Safety + from Amazon. Mistake because you get what you get!! No choice in the tie rod dimension. I got 1 1/2 inch U bolts but needed 1 3/4 inch. I had to go to SP and order the correct size. Cost $25 including shipping to AZ.

That's what we did instead of the steering damper. I felt like I'd rather address the problem than fight the symptoms, and I felt the problem was tailwag on ours. We had a 30'11" RV on a 15'10" wheelbase, and most of that overhang was at the rear. I installed a Blue Ox TigerTrak at the rear, and the sawing at the steering wheel virtually stopped.

I also did the CHF on both ends and had a front end alignment done at a good truck alignment shop, and I drove the RV with one or both thumbs just lightly hanging over the steering wheel crossbar.

Shocks were coming, but we sold it first and opted for a travel trailer.

My Safe-T-Plus came with my used rig. I seldom get a side push from Semi's when meeting one on a 2 lane highway. I would buy it again.

Well that settles it!
Guess I'm going to dig deep into my wallet and install a safe t plus on our 2021 Allegro RED 340.
All the feed back and posts I've read tell I need it.

I
My coach had the Safe T on it but I still had sway, so I installed Steer Safe. IMO, Steer Safe holds better than Safe T.
