Where is the cable from the dish antenna? It goes to the back of the Wally. Connect it. Turn the Wally on. Turn on the far right switch for the dish antenna. You should hear the antenna search for satellites for a few minutes.

Of course, you need to be parked with a clear view of the sky.

Where is your DVD player located. The cables for the satellite receiver should be in or around the same location.

One other word of caution, your Winegard RoadTrip antenna may not work with DISH Network. DISH changed it's transmission coding in March 2016 to 8PSK. Winegard antennas produced before August 2012 may not be able to receive the new DISH transmission coding, and no updates are available.

If I did that the Wally would be suspended in the air because that cable doesnít come out of the cabinet very far. Also how do I get video because the Wally just has hdmi and rca for audio and video? Is there like a splitter from coax to hdmi?

Ok I found the cables where my DVD player was. Says sat a/b on one of coax cables. Do I switch the a & b buttons up front until it figure out which one works? Will this operate both tv’s from back here? Also I’ve got a coax hookup outside under coach for outdoor tv will it work there if I got a rca/coax splitter? Or do you think it would be just for cable? I’m covered up with trees right now gonna have to move to get signal.

Given your level of understanding in how your coach is set up, I suggest you take it to a RV service facility and have them set everything up and show you how things work.

And to help others who see this - "what did you wind up doing to get it going?".

I used the satellite hookup in the back where my DVD player was. NOT the hookups in the front. Just turned the winegard on up front at the switch
