Satellite TV connection.

Just bought 16 allegro 36LA. I dont intend to use the satellite with direct TV. Nothing else connected to the HDMI cable that was used for DirecTV will broadcast to any screen, whether or not the satellite was turned on.
If the HDMI is routed through the winegard dish is there any way to bypass the dish so I can use the setting on the Televisions. Currently just the DVD/home theater and broadcast HD TV is working.

Thanks for any feedback.

I'm guessing you have turned on the fan with to power the splitters. If your fan switch is on then perhaps you may have a power supply that has gone bad. You can swap the 2 power supplies to check. I wanted to add an Apple TV and amazon Firestick ....I bought a 4 way HDMI switch ...then unplugged the HDMI from the back of the blu ray player...plugged that wire into the OUT of the 4 way...Plugged the Apple TV ,Firestick and Blu ray into the input. So Now I select HDMI 1 on my TV then select the device I want to watch on my 4 way switch.

As Rod suggested, it's probably a bad power supply to the splitter or a bad splitter itself. The HDMI does not go through the Winegard, but is split and distributed directly to each of the TVs.

Thanks for the replies. I assume the splitters are in the box where the on/ switch is located...I will take a look at it tommorrow...
