Schwintek slide

I wanted to check something to ensure Iím not expecting too much. On my 2020 Phaeton 40IH I have schwintek slides in the back. When they are extended you can actually see sunlight through openings underneath the slides. Is this normal? I would have expected some rubber to close off any opening to provide insulation as well as prevent bugs to come in. Does anyone else have this or canít you see daylight when looking under them? Iím attaching a picture to show one of the openings.

I do have some light leakage under my vanity slide but not like that. The seal should not be puckered down like that so maybe it needs some adjustment. BTW, is that photo upside down?

All too common, but not OK in the least and you should work to get rid of such faults. If light can get in so can hot air, cold air, noise, bugs and even rodents.

I've had birds come in an opening under the slide very similar to that.
