I will watch this post as I too have the same age and size rig. We are right at 48,000 miles and so far I'm very pleased with the ride/driving. But would like to know what everyone thinks is a suitable upgrade.

I swapped out my original Sachs for a set of Konis last summer. Not sure the ride changed much but the side to side sway when maneuvering into campgrounds, fuel stations, etc. when you are going slow over changing terrain was improved.

Koni's for us, and extremely satisfied. Have to say though, not sure what was on there before, we put the Koni's on shortly after purchasing it. I would go Koni's again without a second thought.

Really? That is our only hint as to what chassis you are on?

Freightliner? Spartan?

Solid front axle? IFS?

IMO- This question was posted to a Tiffin Forum so Bus = Tiffin Allegro Bus. The Allegro's are built using the Tiffin custom Powerglide chassis.(Frieghtliner) Sparten would be for the higher end Zephyrs.

We have the adjustable ones on our 2014 Allegro Bus 37AP. They have been adjusted to the stiffest setting.

You should update your profile since it states Monaco Diplomat, and we are all assuming you are talking about a Tiffin Allegro Bus.

I replaced my shocks at approx. 33k. I went with king shocks from
"hd shock". They are distributed threw direct off road. One of the main reasons with useing hd shocks was when they need to be replaced again they are rebuildable for a lot less than replacing the entire unit. The factory shocks were completely gone. The swaying and ride itself was a dramatic change. V happy with them.

I want a smoother ride

We own a 2021 tiffin allegro red 33aa. We have a frieghtliner chassie. We’re looking for a smoother ride. We don’t want to feel every bump in the road. What can we add to our coach for a smoother ride?

I would start with a weighing to determine the correct tire pressures, has that been done?
