Should I Buy This Allegro or Run

I am looking at a 2008 Open Road 34TGA. It is on a low mileage Workhorse chassis.
Really like it but it has had a puncture in the roof and water damage caused by it.
The shop that repaired it removed the entire roof, replaced all the insulation and plywood etc and installed EDPM on it.
Also a ceiling panel was replaced as well as some flooring that got soft.

Suggest getting an rv inspection. If you are still concerned with the roof leaking suggest a leak test.

I didn’t know edpm was used on rvs. I use that on flat roof construction. I actually just a got a 20x20 that’s going on a roof Tuesday. It weighs almost 150#. I would be Leary about glueing down that much rubber. There’s no easy way to get it up after. I think a traditional rv would have been a safer path. Especially for maintenance.

First, EDPM had been used on RV roofs for many years. But with such extensive damage to the roof, even repaired, I would really question the quality of the care and maintenance the RV received during its life. If the previous owner did not maintain the roof and check for leaks, what else did they cut short to save a few bucks.
