Slide Issue 2016 32SA

On Sunday we were packing up and getting ready to head home. When I hit the switch to retract the main living room slide I heard the briefest of noises as if the slide mechanism was starting then it quit. No slide movement. I pressed the button mulitple times with no results. I went and looked around the coach and saw nothing obvious.

After about 5 minutes I went back in and the slide closed normally. Any ideas what happened here?

Is it an hwh system? If so, id suspect your master solenoid is starting to fail. Hwh website has a trouble shooting guides and tiffin has videos on how to close slide in an emergency by jumping from DC feed directly to the pump motor. Also how to retract jacks

My slide and jacks would occasionally not work. Then they died and not of the tricks (cycling key 3 times, removing power, resetting brake) worked. It was the master (continuous duty) solenoid. Bought replacement on amaZon. On removing the failed solenoid, i found it was marked master but had the trombella part number of the intermittent duty solenoid.

Trombella part #s for my 2020 32SA. U can likely verify your solenoid part # by photo while installed. Save the nuts on the terminals as the new ones do not come with the hardware.
Master 684-1211-012
Intermittent 684-1211-012

In the basement area where the hwh reservoir is. The solenoids are attached with hose clamps to the pump motor. The master has a large red 12v wire feeding it and on my coach is the furthest away from the basement door.
