We have an 18 Phaeton 40IH. For the past few weeks our front slides will not extend or retract without the jacks down. This first showed up during a pre warranty work walkthrough. They wrote it up, but could not repeat the problem. When we got it back a week later, we had the problem again.
Any ideas?

Your front slides are not Schwintek, they are HWH hydraulic. When you try to extend the slides exactly what happens? Does the pressure release and they move about 6" then stop? Can you hear the hydraulic pump running? I had the same issue with mine occasionally and finally decided it was the slide controller board in the Spyder chassis panel. The large bedroom Schwintek slide would sometimes extend but not retract. I replaced the controller and have not had a problem since.
