I have a Tiffin 2018 Alegro bus
The front passenger slideout bottom of the slide the cover has waves or warped. I'm attaching a photo to see if any has thoughts or idea what causes this.
PS let me know if you can't see the photo, I've marked it up to highlite the area.
Many thanks for your input

Welcome to iRV2.
Devoir ; the site computer limits the size of photos for downloading .
If you have your photo on a home computer or laptop ; resize it before posting ; 640 Pixels works best for me .
Be sure and wait for download to complete before closing the attachment window .

Great to see your posting pictures ( took me three weeks to get photos to load to the site ) .
Sorry I can't offer any insight as to the cause of your issue .

Are your arrows pointing to the rubber seal?

That’s odd. I would have said the bottom panel which on earlier slides was glued on but yours should be one piece fiberglass.

The arrows were only to highlight the ripple in the cover. The materials felt like 14# aluminum when I tapped it

Devoir ; there appears to be a bezel or frame of some description ( yellow box that I've added to your photo ) can that be removed to confirm the under slide material ? Fiberglass or aluminum ?

I have the same bottom on my Phaeton slide and it had some creases in it from the rollers but as I recall the overall panel is smooth and not rippled. Wondering if the bond released on yours. Might be worth a call to Tiffin since there is a longer delamination warranty.

Many thanks I will get a better look this week when we go down to do some cleanup. I will try to determine the material. I hadn't thought about it delaminating.

Did verify the material isn't metal it seems to be a type of have plastic or melamine material.

Tiffin has had some slide floor issues thru the years. Their floor construction has changed as well. My PS front kitchen slideout had floor indentation where the steel rollers (4) made contact. The rear one was the worst and when I called Tiffin, they were aware, and their fix was to install a 1/8" coated aluminum plate under each roller. The bottom on that slide on mine is definitely aluminum yet the driver side front is a thin fiberglass or melamine type product. The DS is a Lippert drop down electric type with no rollers on the exposed bottom while the PS is HWH hydraulic. None of the floors are as smooth as I would prefer.
Tiffin support has been great but there are different levels of experience for sure. Originally got bad info on the PS slideout and after digging deeper, called back and got someone else with spot on info.
Be sure to keep us posted on the final outcome.

My experience has been that, particularly for older coaches, you want to talk to the older folk at Tiffin. They remember. Tribal lore is often not passed down in any large organization, and Tiffin is no exception.
