Slide out movement

2008 Allegro Open Road 32BA
PowerGear slides
First motorhome
When I extend the living room slide out it starts to move out and seems to tilt downward as it moves. When it gets to full extension it the raises up and squares up the the side of the coach. Is this normal movement?
Looking underneath there doesn’t appear to be anything worn out or out of alignment. Does it need some sort of adjustment?
Thanks.

Does that particular slide drop down as it extends? If so, the tilt is normal. The gear drive slide on our Allegro RED did the same as both of our current hydraulic slides do.

Thanks. It’s good to know that it is operating as designed. Eases my mind.

If you look under the slide, you’ll see that it runs down a ramp so it ends up level with the floor. Our front DS slide does this.

Yes, ours is a power gear flush slide and it does the same.

Slide tilting

I have noticed our front slides tilting like that. It has really concerned me. I am so glad to read your replies, and most of all your answers. Thanks MOMCAT
