Slide out won't slide

2008 Tiffin allegro bus. the pass. side bedroom slide works perfect, but yesterday the driver's side slide out wouldn't move. No sound at all. no clicking when i pushed the switch "in" or "out". Worked okay last time I used it. any ideas?? I checked the fuse under the norcold refer and it appears okay. thanks, John

Do you have voltage across the switch? Do you get voltage at the motor?

Not going out to check right this second (it's raining!), but IIRC the slide controllers, self-resetting breakers, and fuses are in the first compartment on the driver's side.

Not sure of your year, but controllers usually flash a code and also have a bypass.

crazy thing..... I brought in the slides yesterday, in preparation to moving and just for grins, I tried the driver's side rear slide and it worked today! Nothing is as vexing as an intermittent problem like this. Any ideas?? thanks, John

What slide system is in your '08 Bus Schwintek, Power Gear, HWY Hydraulic? That will make a difference on advice as Tiffin has changed slide systems over the years. It could be an open circuit, bad switch, etc. Did the other slide work at the same time this one wouldn't?

It is a 2008 tiffin allegro bus. the front are hydraulic, HWH?? and the rears are electric. the two fronts went out fine, the rear pass. side went out fine, the rear driver side did nothing; no click, no nothing when I tried either direction... when I brought in the slides to go somewhere, just for grins I tried the driver's side rear and it worked just fine.
