Sofa Covering

I would like to get the opinion of others on whether it is more cost effective to get my sleeper sofa recovered or should I just buy a new one. Either way I doubt I will be able to match the other furniture. I have ne quote for recovering at ~$1500. If I were to replace it can I go with a standard residential sofa and if so how do you mount it to the floor.

Check Bradd and Hall in Elkhart, if you travel that way. Nice theater seating can be had or I am sure a new couch for a bit more than that. It would depend on how old and/or comfortable the current couch is.
