Spray Adhesive, or Tape?

I have a 2019 32SA that the tank sensors keep falling off (FW tank this time). I am looking for a recommendation on using either the 3M adhesive tape or a spray adhesive. Im getting tires of having to reattach theses sensors and looking for a good fix, or recommendation. Thanks for any advice.

I have used “RV Goop” and so far so good. The two top sensors fell off the black tank almost immediately last summer and I had the middle gray tank sensor come off a few weeks ago.

I had this same problem and fixed it using post #9 on the below link. Got the response from Tiffin, used super glue and it worked and has held for about 4,000 miles so far.

Hope this helps.

Went and bought a can of Gorilla spray adhesive to reinstall sensor. Did an alcohol swab to clean surface and spay the adhesive to both surfaces. Seems to adhere pretty good. I now have a lifetime supply of adhesive spay in this big can left over. As a side note, I’m beginning to think one of the reasons these sensors fall off is because of rage flexing in the walls of the polypropylene tank(s) due to pressure and temperatures. We’ll see how this fares.

I was at Red Bay for the same thing and other issues. They told me tape was too thick. One other thing make sure you clean the surface with alcohol.

What was the result/impact of using tape that is too thick? Does not read? Reads more fluid? Reads less fluid? Falls off? Other?

tape adhesive

Got that. Had the same issue, but found that tape holds the sensors in place. They do provide a reading. We'll see how that goes over time.
