As far as I know it's only updated through the 2019 models. Anything after that would require changing to the open source software and having knowledge of programming to modify it for the later models. Some functionality might be the same on the new model coaches, but things may or may not work correctly.

Thanks Dan, I have been a CP owner for quite a while now and love it. I even have Alexa hooked up. My remote functionality is limited though, only notifications for gen start, ignition start and full tanks. I never did opt for the full Bluetooth control of the system, but now I wish I did.

I guess this is a case of Murphy's Law in reverse. I received the 709-RVC-NLP, but hadn't installed it prior to taking the coach in for its annual service.

After I got the coach home I just happened to check the Spyder panel and while the LPG gauge was fluctuating (it always did that) the fresh water, black and grey tank readings were solid as a rock.....and have remained that way for over two weeks.

I don't have any trips scheduled prior to heading south in December, so I'll hang on to the 709-RVC-NLP until we get to Tucson in case anything changes.

Update after install

I completed the upgrade replacing the old monochrome display with the new color touch screen. It was pretty easy. The hardest part was unplugging the old panel. It takes 3 hands. One to hold the loose panel, one to press the lock to release the plug and one to pull the plug from the socket. I used the "wall mount" option since the wall was 3/4" thick.

Following the install everything worked great except for the "Panel lights" button (see picture). I got an update from Spyder Controls that installs using a USB drive in the back of the touch screen. Now everything is working great.

What was your problem with the panel lights? I found out from another user that the panel light button will turn them off with a press but had to press and hold to turn them back on. The light on the new panel did not turn off and just has to time out.

After the new color panel was installed the "Panel Lights" button worked as follows:
1. If panel lights were already ON, then a quick push would turn off all panels including the color display.
2. If panel lights were already OFF, then a quick push would turn off the color display but not affect all the other panels
3. If the button was pushed and HELD, then all panel lights would turn ON, but be DIM

After the update, pushing the "Panel Lights" brings up a sub-menu that has 4 buttons, OFF, ON, DIM and CANCEL.

The latest firmware update corrects the issues with the panel lights. It is easy to install with a USB thumb drive.
