Spyder wiring errors?

Hello, We just picked up our new-to-us 2020 Phaeton 37BH. Spent the first night on the way home in NM with temps in the 30's. Ran the propane furnaces to keep warm and discovered something very interesting. On the main Spyder panel, when you turn on the "front" furnace, the one in the back comes on. When you turn on the "rear" furnace, the one under the sink comes on. They appear to have been connected backwards to the Spyder system. All 3 AC units are connected properly as are the temp sensors. Does anybody know the specifics of how the furnaces are connected to the spyder system? If I pull the main Spyder unit out of the wall in the rear bath, will it be obvous what wires I need to swap?

Thanks!

According to the Spyder diagrams for my 2019 37BH, the trigger signals for the furnaces come from the G8 panel on the basement ceiling. Front furnace pin 10, Rear furnace pin 11.

Thanks ernieh! You wouldn't happen to know where in the basement that panel is located?

I would just leave it alone. If you go to Red Bay have them fix it. If you do something wrong you will have no heat. Currently you have heat and you have to just press different buttons…..big deal.
Just my opinion from 23 yrs of RVing.

On my 2019 it's on the ceiling of the DS basement compartment just aft of the batteries. That is the one with the battery and inverter/charger disconnects.

This Spyder chart deck might be of some use: http://spydercontrols.com/wp-content...ematics-ce.pdf. It confirms the information from ErnieH and provides some help in locating and identifying the components and wiring.

I would email Tiffin Service. If they tell you to switch the wires, you would have documentation they told you to do it and your warranty should be good.

For others, what color wires are on those 2 terminals? That should tell you if the wires are switched.

Thanks to everyone for the help!! Spoke to Spyder today and they sent me the schematic for my coach. Located the G8 panel right where ernieh said it would be. Need to get home to test the fix Spyder provided, which is to jumper the 2 wires, ( I.e. use jumper wires to swap connections) test for proper operation, then remove and swap them if test works out.

Just thought I’d close this out. Finally got into the bay a few weeks ago and swapped out the two furnace wires in the G8 panel. Now it works like a charm! Thanks again for everyone’s help!

Love the way Tiffin prints the function of each wire right on the wire. Too bad they don’t publish the schematics.
