Unhappy Step not working

We have a 1999 Allegro bay steps just stopped working i replaced with new motor still nothing going on the internet alot of folks say there may be two fuses on these steps (kwikee series 32) I can only find 1 in the dash fuse box.The light on the step still works so i know there power there . Also does the magnet on the screen door ever go bad .The toggle switch is good .any help would be AWESOME Thank you very much

Electric steps start/stop by sensing ampere draw. If you haven't lubricated the steps recently, do so; they may be binding and the controller cannot overcome the resistance amperage. It can't hurt anything since Kwikee says to lube them monthly anyway.

Check your door switch. Your model probably has a magnetic switch on the latch side of the door. You can test it with a strong magnet. If you don't have one, check the hinge side of the door for a push button style switch.
