While this is true for the Autoformer, the Watchdog is made in China. I was told this directly from a Hughes employee when I was having some issues with my Watchdog. I was very surprised to find this out when he told me and I told him I was disappointed to find this out.

If you read the link you provided very closely, it only mentions the Autoformer.

I like that it'll notify me of issues via Bluetooth, too — at a previous campground the area had a power outage, and we didn't even notice for a while.

If the power is OUT, I don’t think the watchdog is going to notify you of ANYTHING…..

No power to the watchdog = no power to communicate

Good point. So it won't help with a power cut, but will still be useful for lots of other scenarios.

On my call with hughesautoformers support the other day the unit I am looking for (hardwired) is on backorder. Coming from Asia was what I was told. The autoformers are made here, apparently not the power watchdogs. -Bill
