Surround Sound Remote

Hi all. Have not been able to get our surround sound remote to work via the repeater. If I go into the bedroom and point it directly at the blue ray it works fine. It appears the IR emitter in the cabinet is not functioning. All the connections are good but the internal wiring seems loose, if I shake the wiring I can get a red light to come on in the back, I think the three lights are also supposed to be let, any advice?Click image for larger version

The three LEDs emit infrared light so you won't see any light from them. At least one of the two little button eyes on the ends of the wiring needs to be directly in front of the Bluray player's IR receiver. If that doesn't work, your IR repeaters may need to be resynced. You can go to the Spyder web site and download instructions on how to do this, plus they have video instructions on how to set it all up. The user name is Tiffin and the pw is Motorhomes (Case Sensitive).

I find that my remote works with one of the front IR sensors, but not the other one. Resyncing the IR system didn't fix that problem so I just have to aim the remote at the one that works.

Thanks, the button is located properly. One item I noticed when I took the emitter off was I had to move the wire for a small red light on the opposite side of the emitter to come on, that’s got me thinking there may be a problem with the emitter. I will check the website as well

One of the wires was actually pulled out of the emitter on our coach. Waiting on arrival of new cable.
