Telescoping Ladder Storage

I had seen where someone had stored their ladder in the generator bay up by the front cap framing. Anyone suggest what would be a maximum weight for that area.

If there is enough room to fit the ladder comfortably I don't see why you can't store it there with the proper restraints.
As far as it being too heavy? I don't think so, I see people climbing on their generators to clean their windshields.
if you decide to store it their put some foam rubber under the contact points so you don't hear the rattling.

I have my ladder stored against the wall in the bedroom under the escape window held to the wall with velcro tape and a footmens loop. So I can use it if I have to go out the window.
