What was the one issue?

In the end there was one significant issue that could not be fixed to our satisfaction. We moved on and ordered a 2021 to replace it.

2020 Breeze 33BR:
  • Major slide rebuild before pickup.
    • New rack.
    • New rollers.
  • Three water leaks:
    • Pex in wetbay split by screw.
    • Replaced leaking bathroom faucet.
    • Tightened leaking kitchen sink drain.
  • AGS miswired.
  • Replaced faulty air blender in dash.
  • Separating seam in bathroom wall.
  • Replaced scratched kitchen cabinet door.
  • One basement door that wouldn't lock/unlock with the supplied keys.
  • Replaced warped sink cover.
The Breeze took three PDI dates before I drove it away.
You appear to be like me on judging details. I like that. What was the symptom for the AGS miswired issue?

At first the AGS board wouldn't power on. No LED on AGS box and "no comm" on Magnum remote. Dealer replaced board and it still wouldn't power on. Tech rewired ground and AGS board powered on, but wouldn't start the generator either through the test button on the AGS or through the control menu of the Magnum remote.

The DS rear slide continued to malfunction even after four (and a couple of them, extensive) tries. Evidently the slide opening was cut over an inch too wide. There may have been a solution to this but I was unwilling to cancel more trips and spend more time in repair shops gambling that it could be fixed.

I’ve bought two new Tiffins and I’ve bought two 3 year old Tiffins. One of the new ones never saw the selling dealer or the factory after purchasing. The other new one was a six month series of nit pick problems. It wasn’t that I made a list and fixed everything, every time I fixed one thing the next trip I had another issue. It wasn’t problems with the build, it was all outsourced components, mostly electrical. The two used ones were night and day different too, one I bought the previous owners neglect and lack of maintenance that took about a year to sort out. The second used one was trouble free. There is no right or wrong answer. Up until 2020 it was cheaper to buy slightly used, now it’s likely cheaper to order new if you are willing to wait.

Brand New 45`OPP Bus

We have had our new coach 2.5 weeks with a 4 night shakedown trip of approx. 270 miles. Were use to 2 to 3 pages of items for repair in other brands that we have had but we have only come up with 2 items on this coach. Tiffin has already sent us the replacement parts for the 2 items. We are really, really, really pleased and excited.
