I’ve bought two new Tiffins and I’ve bought two 3 year old Tiffins. One of the new ones never saw the selling dealer or the factory after purchasing. The other new one was a six month series of nit pick problems. It wasn’t that I made a list and fixed everything, every time I fixed one thing the next trip I had another issue. It wasn’t problems with the build, it was all outsourced components, mostly electrical. The two used ones were night and day different too, one I bought the previous owners neglect and lack of maintenance that took about a year to sort out. The second used one was trouble free. There is no right or wrong answer. Up until 2020 it was cheaper to buy slightly used, now it’s likely cheaper to order new if you are willing to wait.
